Privacy Policy — Unanime
This privacy policy applies to the Unanime app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Frédéric Dinand (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
What the Application Collects
The Application has no account, no sign-up and no login. It does not ask for your name, your email address or your phone number.
The player names you type to start a game, the scores of a round and your settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to the Service Provider, and deleting the Application deletes them.
The Application does not gather information about the location of your mobile device. It contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking software.
Purchases and Subscriptions
The Application offers optional paid subscriptions and a one-time purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google: the Service Provider never sees or receives your payment card, your billing address or your bank details.
To know whether your subscription is active, the Application uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. The following is sent to RevenueCat:
- A random identifier generated on your device, which is not linked to your identity
- The purchase receipt issued by Apple or Google
- Your device platform and model, its operating system version, and the country of your store account
This data exists for one purpose: unlocking what you paid for, on every device where you sign in with the same store account.

The Service Provider may disclose information as required by law, or to protect rights or safety.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or via the application marketplace.
Who Is Responsible, and Where the Data Goes
The data controller is Frédéric Dinand, based in France, reachable at unanime@fredericdinand.com. The purchase data described above is processed on the legal basis of performing the contract between you and the Service Provider: without it, a purchase cannot be unlocked or restored.
RevenueCat processes that data on servers located in the United States, on the Service Provider's instructions and under a data processing agreement that includes the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. No other data leaves your device.
Data Retention and Your Rights
Purchase data is retained for as long as needed to honour your subscription or your one-time purchase, and thereafter for the period required by accounting and tax obligations.
You may ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of the data held about you. Write to unanime@fredericdinand.com and the Service Provider will respond in a reasonable time. Note that deleting purchase data may end access to what you paid for.
If you are in the European Union and consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in France, the CNIL.
Children
The Application is rated 16+ and some question packs are explicitly reserved for adults. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at unanime@fredericdinand.com.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information, and provides physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information processed and maintained.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-08-10.
Your Consent
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
